HyamAn NFT Hash 3D reVERSE cOMPOSITE

tHIS WAS MY FIRST PROJECT incorporating 3d INTO MY PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY AND POST PROCESSING.

thE FIRST STEPS WERE CREATING THE CG ENVIRONMENT, I STYLED THE SCENE USING 3D ASSETS AVAILABLE ONLINE. thE MATERIALS WERE SOURCED FROM cGAXIS, ALONG WITH THE TABLE, COUCH AND SIDE TABLE IN THE BACK.
tHIS WAS RENDERED IN rEDSHIFT USING CINEMA 4D.
to composite the product in, I matched the camera in redshift to the camera I use in real like, the Hasselblad x1d. I then composted my shot with the product in mind. I then rendered that image, and matched my cameras orientation to the camera in cg BY MATCHING THE MEASUREMENTS PROVIDED IN CINEMA 4D FOR MY CAMERAS LOCATION. I HAD TO MATCH THE CAMERA HIEGHT, DISTANCE, FOCAL LENGHT, AND ANGLE. onCE THIS WAS MATCHED, I JUST PHOTOGRAPHED THE PRODUCT.
I HAD A BAREBULB FLASH IN THE BACK, WITH A BLUE FILTER ON IT to match the ambient light of the scene, then I had a flash over head to get the spot light effect. Lastly, I had a purple light to the back right of the product to match the purple lighting coming in from the same angle in the cg environment.
With all the parameters matching fairly close, the retouching processes was very smooth and rewarding.
I recognize that with the industry moving in the direction it seems to, this type of work will become more and more of my everyday workflow.
